BM Barbell & Fitness is home to Yeovil CrossFit. Our classes are accessible to EVERYONE of all ages, from complete beginner to the competitive athlete, and movements will be scaled to ability, and allow for pre-existing or long term injuries
Classes are an hour in length, and although the workouts and skills we focus on vary day-to-day, they are programmed to ensure measurable improvement over time in all areas
WOD Lite classes have a similar format to our WOD classes, but they are non-technical, more cardio-based.
Using odd objects, and more relaxed, these are a great way to get your workouts in if you are new to fitness.

Opening a gym has been Ben’s passion and aim since youth. Having participated in and taught competitive sports from a young age, Ben took his BTEC National Diploma in Sport Coaching & Sport Science and Level 3 Personal Training qualifications. More recently, he became a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, first coaching CrossFit at CrossFit Yeovil, and is a fully qualified British Weightlifting Coach. He has recently started his Strength & Conditioning Level 4 Ben has spent the last 3 years coaching small group classes utilising these skills as well as having spent time working in a mainstream gym environment.
Elizabeth has always been active, but it is only more recently through CrossFit that she has found her fitness niche. She has gone through the stages of complete beginner to competitive athlete, and has realised the full potential that this type of training can have on anyone’s life, not just physically but even more for their mental and emotional wellbeing, and is committed to helping others in the same way. She is a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, starting her coaching at CrossFit Yeovil, a British Weightlifting Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer, and is currently becoming qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
Sam has always been fascinated by how people/athletes move so differently and since qualifying as a Personal Trainer, the route he desired to take was drawn out for him from the start. He is committed to helping people feel better from their training, encouraging longevity and improving fundamental movement patterns in order for them to lead a better quality of life. Sam regularly attends courses in Strength and Conditioning, Weightlifting, CrossFit and other specialities. He applies his passion and philosophy for constantly learning into other people's, and his own, regime: “Always be a white belt”.
